Montgomery County Police 3rd District officers made multiple arrests and seized weapons, drugs, and $24,000 in suspected drug money during proactive policing efforts on Tuesday night. In two separate incidents, officers recovered stolen and discarded firearms, confiscated drugs, and arrested suspects who now face felony charges.

Your @mcpnews 3rd District officers were busy tonight removing dangerous weapons and drugs off of the street.
District Community Action Team (DCAT), Holiday Crime Detail & Patrol officers responded to a call for drug activity/sales and located two suspects in a vehicle. One fled on foot and was seen tossing a handgun in the bushes. The suspect was caught, the gun recovered, and about $24K 💵 in suspected drug money along with drugs were seized.
In another incident, plain clothes officers watched a suspected drug deal. A stop was made and a stolen handgun was recovered along with an assortment of drugs and evidence of drug sales.
Adults suspects in these cases were transported to central processing and booked on felony charges.”
