Khandaker Wasi is a Senior at Poolesville High School and currently serves as the executive director of 504 Found overseeing over 19k students. He earned a spot on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the ‘Education’ category.
Per Forbes: “Khandaker Wasi, who hails from Bangladesh and lives in Maryland, started nonprofit 504 Found in 2022 to raise awareness about 504 plans (federal funding for neurodivergent accommodations in schools, such as text-to-speech tools). Inspired by a friend who struggled with ADHD, Wasi has reached 19,700 students with learning disabilities in all 50 states through in-person and virtual webinars and workshops.”
Khandaker has also served as a founding member and advancement officer at NovaCrypt, overseeing nearly 9K students and helping teens from underprivileged backgrounds conduct independent research projects.
