The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an assault.
According to MCPD, the incident occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2024, around 1 p.m. in the 14200 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 17 to 24 years old, wearing jeans, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and Nike sneakers.
The victim reported encountering the suspect in an apartment stairwell. When the victim asked if the suspect had knocked on their door, the suspect displayed a knife and verbally threatened them. The suspect is wanted for first-degree assault.
