While shopping at Five Below in Congressional North Plaza (Rockville), an ordinary outing took a bizarre turn that left onlookers in shock and a few cars in need of repair. As the Five Below shoppers exited the store to drop off their purchases at their car, they were greeted by an unexpected sight: a SUV precariously perched atop of one car and leaning against another SUV.
Witnesses recounted that the driver of the SUV was attempting to park when things took a drastic turn. According to their account, the driver suddenly lost control as the vehicle began to accelerate unexpectedly. In a surreal twist, the SUV popped the curb, gained enough air to climb onto one car, and subsequently collided with an additional SUV.
Fortunately, no one was injured in this strange incident. The owner of the vehicle stuck beneath the SUV was not present at the time, having stepped into another store. As the scene unfolded, concerned shoppers gathered around, forming a circle of disbelief at the unusual sight before them.
Emergency services were quick to respond, with both police and firefighters arriving promptly to assess the situation and ensure everyone’s safety. All parties involved were able to return home without charges or arrests made in connection with the incident.
