Permanent signage is now up for Maryland’s first Hey Tea at 891-F Rockville Pike in Wintergreen Plaza. The store will be located between Wingstop and Paisano’s Pizza, in the space formerly occupied by Sweetfrog.
Hey Tea is a global tea chain founded in 2012 in Guangdong, China, by then-19-year-old entrepreneur Neo Nie. The first U.S. Hey Tea location opened last summer on Broadway in New York City, followed by additional stores in California and nearby Tysons Corner, Virginia.
According to a Hey Tea press release, the Rockville location will offer three core product categories: Refreshing Real Fruit Teas, Real Dairy Milk Teas, and Refreshing Finest Teas. Menu items will include Very Grape Cheese (Original), Very Grape HEYTEA (Original), Mango Grapefruit Sago, Roasted Brown Bobo Milk (Original), and Regal Aqua Green Jasmine Cheese (Original).
