The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who stole property and assaulted a loss prevention officer at the Macy’s in Wheaton Mall on April 16, 2025.
According to MCPD, the suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall. He entered the store, stole property, and was confronted by Loss Prevention Officers, who recovered the stolen items. The suspect then assaulted one of the officers before fleeing the scene.
