Last year we reported on MoMo Hub, a restaurant that first opened in Clarksville, MD (Howard County) in 2022, expanding with a second location at Commas Food Hall in Ellsworth Place, Silver Spring (8661 Colesville Rd.). The stall is now open as one of three food stalls currently available in a “super soft opening” by Commas.
MoMo Hub has earned praise from customers, achieving an impressive 4.8 Google review rating from 175 reviews and a 4.6 rating on Yelp from 35+ reviews. Per the restaurant’s Commas bio, “in Nepalese culture, food is more than just nourishment– it is a way to build community and foster relationships. Sharing a meal is a cherished tradition, and many dishes are closely tied to festivals and rituals that celebrate the country’s rich heritage.” The featured photo shows “chicken steamed Mo:Mo.”

The restaurant’s diverse menu features a variety of traditional Nepalese offerings. Guests can enjoy Mo:Mo, Nepalese dumplings, and Bara, savory pancakes, alongside an assortment of classic dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and an array of spices and herbs such as cumin, coriander, turmeric, and ginger. Whether you are in the mood for a dish prepared with 100% halal meat or a delightful vegan or vegetarian option, each bite is intended to capture the essence of Nepalese culinary traditions.
