With exterior construction nearly complete at the Kensington Crossing shopping center, located at 10619 Connecticut Avenue (at Plyers Mill Road), the five businesses that have signed on are set to begin interior construction as they prepare to open in the coming months. Mezeh has received its permit to begin construction in one of the spaces.
Mezeh is a fast-casual eatery with a buffet-style of offerings that include rice and salad bowls, wraps and a variety of sauces and toppings that are very similar to national chain, CAVA. Mezeh Mediterranean Grill opened its first store in Annapolis, MD in 2013 and has additional Montgomery County locations in Aspen Hill, Gaithersburg, and Germantown, with an Olney location coming soon.
An exact opening timeframe or date is not yet available, but Mezeh will be joining M&T Bank, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, Marathon Deli, and My Allure Nail Spa at the upcoming shopping center.
