Up to $10K Reward for Tips Leading to Arrest in Stabbing

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with an August 2, 2025, stabbing near the intersection of Fern Street and University Boulevard West in Wheaton that left a male victim hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

According to MCPD, “At approximately 3:20 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the area for the report of a stabbing.

The investigation revealed that, as a group of people was leaving an area restaurant, an altercation occurred, during which the suspect stabbed a male victim.

The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 28 years old, with a thin build, short black hair, a goatee, an ear piercing, and visible tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen wearing a white Nicaragua baseball jersey with the number 16 in blue on the back, a royal blue baseball cap with an “N” on the front, black shorts, and white Jordan sneakers.
