The Aspen Hill Club has been sold but will continue operating, ensuring no immediate changes for members of the longtime Montgomery County fitness and racquet facility.
According to CityBiz, the transaction closed in December 2025. The 120,000 square foot, multi-disciplined sports and health facility sits on 16 manicured acres at 14501 Homecrest Road in Silver Spring’s Aspen Hill neighborhood. CityBiz reports the total sale price for the real estate and business was $5,360,000.
Maryland Newsletters also reported on the sale, noting that Bethesda based Finmarc Management has added the Aspen Hill Club to its growing portfolio. That report states Finmarc paid $4 million, but may not include both the real estate and business. While the two reports cite different figures, both confirm the same buyer and location, and both indicate the club will continue operating.
The report notes that Finmarc Management has been expanding into experiential and community focused properties. The Aspen Hill acquisition follows the company’s recent purchases of two movie theaters, one in Fairfax and one in Brandywine. In each case, Finmarc has indicated the properties will remain open and operational, rather than being redeveloped.
The Aspen Hill Club has deep roots in the community. It first opened in 1977 with just four outdoor green clay tennis courts and a trailer. Over nearly five decades, the facility has steadily expanded and evolved to meet changing fitness trends and member needs.
Today, the club features 21 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, on demand pickleball courts, a 25 meter heated indoor lap and therapy pool, state of the art fitness equipment, and more than 35 group exercise classes. Offerings include Body Pump, studio cycling, aerobics, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, and more.
