Eight Shell Casings Found After Reported Shooting On Game Preserve Rd; No Injuries

Montgomery County police responded late Wednesday night to a reported shooting in the Germantown area that, at this time, appears to have caused no injuries or property damage.

According to Montgomery County Department of Police, 6th District officers were dispatched at approximately 10:49pm to the 11400 block of Game Preserve Road after a witness reported hearing gunfire. The caller told police that a vehicle had stopped at the end of their driveway and that an occupant fired shots into a wooded area before leaving.

Upon arrival, officers located eight shell casings in the roadway. A search of the surrounding area did not turn up any victims or damaged property. Police have not released any suspect description or information about the vehicle involved, and the investigation remains ongoing.
