A juvenile female was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning along Colesville Road near University Boulevard East, near Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County Police responded to the area at approximately 8:07am for the report of a pedestrian collision. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Police say the driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene following the incident. No road closures were reported at the time of the response. The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been released.
