Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Wednesday afternoon along New Hampshire Avenue at an unnamed jewelry store.
According to Takoma Park Police, the incident occurred around 1:04pm on April 29, 2026, in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Preliminary information indicates that four masked suspects smashed the front window of a jewelry store to gain entry.
During the robbery, one of the suspects displayed a handgun. The group then fled the scene in a black sedan. No injuries were reported. The investigation remains active as police work to identify the suspects and gather additional details.
