Mayflower has closed its doors at 7925 Norfolk Avenue after more than two decades serving the Bethesda community.
The longtime restaurant was known for its affordable pricing and had built a loyal following over the years. According to a report by Robert Dyer, the closure comes after the restaurant’s lease expired and a renewal agreement could not be reached with the landlord. The owner is reportedly hopeful to find a new location nearby where the restaurant can reopen.
A replacement tenant for the space has not been announced at this time.
