Montgomery County Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night in the Damascus area that left one man seriously injured.
According to police, 5th District officers were dispatched at approximately 10:33pm to the 9800 block of Bethesda Church Road for a reported shooting.
Preliminary information indicates that officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. No information about the victim’s age has been released.
At this time, no suspect information is available. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
