A serious traffic incident has closed New Hampshire Avenue (MD-650) between Nora Drive and Heartsfields Drive in White Oak according to Montgomery County Police.
Montgomery County Police and Fire and Rescue Services were dispatched at approximately 4:39am to the 11800 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of a single-vehicle collision. One adult male was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
New Hampshire Avenue remains closed between Nora Drive and Heartfields Drive as the investigation continues. Motorists should expect significant delays and are urged to seek an alternate route. We’ll provide updates as more information becomes available.
