Noodle King, the Asian noodle and Hong Kong cuisine restaurant at 12705 New Hampshire Ave. in Colesville, will reopen on Friday, July 31, after being closed for nearly two months following a kitchen fire.
The restaurant temporarily closed in early June after the fire prompted repairs and renovations. At one point, Google incorrectly listed the business as permanently closed before its status was updated to temporarily closed.
In a message shared when the closure was announced, the owners said they were grateful no one was injured and that the fire was contained. They also thanked customers for their patience while the restaurant underwent repairs to restore the space and ensure it met the safety and quality standards guests expect.
With the work now complete, Noodle King is ready to welcome customers back beginning Friday. They have shared that they’re looking forward to serving the community again.
