Persiano Gallery is returning to Downtown Crown, taking over the space it previously occupied at 201 Ellington Blvd. after the recent closure of The Container Store.
The furniture and home design retailer originally left the location when The Container Store signed a lease for the space. Following The Container Store’s closure earlier this month, Persiano Gallery will once again call the Downtown Crown storefront home, with owner John Hashempour telling The MoCoShow that he is targeting a September 1 opening.
The new showroom will complement the company’s existing locations at 1560 Rockville Pike in Rockville and Hagerstown Premium Outlets, while offering a unique experience centered around year-round promotions. Hashempour says the Downtown Crown location will feature rugs, artwork, furniture, mattresses, and interior design services, adding that his team can completely furnish and transform a home in as little as one day.
Founded in 2000, Persiano Gallery has served the Washington, D.C. region for more than two decades, offering furniture from leading manufacturers along with custom orders, space planning, interior design, and installation services. The company also provides complimentary one-hour in-store interior design consultations to help customers plan and furnish their homes.
According to the company, its mission is to simplify the furniture-buying process by offering a wide selection of designer furniture, personalized design services, and competitive pricing under one roof.
