A new hand-painted sign is now up at Saints Row Brewing, located at 15 Fulks Corner Ave. in Gaithersburg, as the brewery prepares to reopen under new ownership this fall.
“Things are looking a little different around here,” Saints Row shared on social media. “New logo hand painted on the building by our good friend @deztheartist76. One of many updates you’ll see in the coming weeks. Stay tuned. We’re very excited to get everyone back in to the new Saints Row.”
The brewery announced in May that it would return following a brief closure and transition in ownership. The update came after Saints Row had previously announced plans to close permanently at the end of April following more than eight years in Montgomery County’s craft beer scene.
Co-founder Tony Prebula later revealed that members of the brewery’s staff had banded together to purchase the business and carry it into its next chapter. “The brewery has always been more than just beer. It’s been about people, connection, and community first and foremost,” Prebula said at the time. “I couldn’t think of a better send off than to pass the torch to the people who have embodied our goals and mission by making it their own.”
Founded in 2017 by Tony and Lacy Prebula, Saints Row became a staple of the county’s craft beer community, known for its welcoming atmosphere and beer offerings. The new sign is one of several updates planned ahead of Saints Row’s anticipated reopening this fall. An exact reopening date has not yet been announced.
