Montgomery County Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found with serious injuries following a reported shooting in White Oak on Thursday, September 10.
According to police, at approximately 2:05pm, 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 1700 block of January Drive for a report of a shooting. Officers located an adult male with serious injuries and immediately rendered aid. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say no one is in custody and no suspect information is available at this time. The Major Crimes Division’s Homicide Unit is investigating. Police will release additional information as it becomes available, including the victim’s identity after next of kin have been notified.
