An adult woman was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury after being struck by a vehicle at New Hampshire Ave and Valley Brook Dr in Colesville on Friday, September 11, according to Montgomery County Police.
MCPD’s 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel were dispatched to the collision at 2:10pm. In an initial update posted at 2:22pm, police described the pedestrian as unresponsive.
In a subsequent update at 3:01pm, police reported that she had been transported to a hospital and that her head injury was not life-threatening. Police identified the striking vehicle as an Audi and said the driver remained at the scene.
