A two-vehicle collision at Veirs Mill Rd (MD-586) and Rockville Pike (MD-355) in Rockville has prompted a severe traffic alert from Alert Montgomery.
According to the alert, all lanes of Veirs Mill Rd are closed at Rockville Pike. Drivers should expect significant delays and seek an alternate route.
MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer reported that the collision involved two vehicles at the intersection known as the “Mixing Bowl,” with some lanes blocked. No information about injuries was immediately provided.
