Starbucks has permanently closed its location at Clarksburg Premium Outlets at 22705 Clarksburg Rd.
The coffee shop, located across from the food court on the lower level of the outlet center, closed on Wednesday, September 30. We first reported the planned closure prior to Starbucks’ larger round of store closures announced later in the month.
The Clarksburg closure comes just days after Starbucks closed five other locations in Maryland and one in Washington, D.C., on Sunday as part of the company’s plans to close approximately 250 underperforming stores across North America.
While the Clarksburg location closed just a few days after those stores, its closure had been scheduled beforehand. Starbucks has not publicly provided a specific reason for the Clarksburg closure.
