J.Crew Factory is set to open its newest Montgomery County location on Thursday, November 12, at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg. An employee at the store confirmed the opening date on Wednesday evening. The new store is located at 20 Grand Corner Ave., Suite A, in the space formerly occupied by FineWine.com, which closed earlier this year.
As we first reported in March, J.Crew Factory signed on to take over the former wine store space, with construction picking up over the summer and into the fall. In September, the space had been cleared out and work was underway in preparation for the clothing retailer’s arrival.
J.Crew Factory is the value-focused brand under the J.Crew Group umbrella, offering its own line of clothing inspired by the main J.Crew brand at lower price points. The retailer carries clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.
The Rio Lakefront store will become J.Crew Factory’s third Montgomery County location, joining existing stores at Congressional Plaza in Rockville and Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
