Coming soon signage is now up at the future Ted’s Bulletin location at 7715 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda, where the restaurant is expected to open in 2027.
The signage comes approximately one year after Woodmont Grill, formerly known as Houston’s, closed in late October 2025 following decades of operation in downtown Bethesda.
As previously reported, Ted’s Bulletin owner Steve Salis purchased the approximately 6,300-square-foot property from Hillstone Restaurant Group for $7 million, according to UrbanTurf. The Bethesda restaurant will become the chain’s second Montgomery County location, joining its Downtown Crown restaurant in Gaithersburg, which opened in 2015.
The Bethesda location is expected to feature Ted’s Bulletin’s newer restaurant design, similar to its locations in NoMa, Ashburn and Ballston (photos below). The restaurant is known for its “modern American comfort food, scratch-made favorites, and warm hospitality, offering a welcoming “a.m. to p.m.” gathering place for everything from leisurely family dinners and weekend brunches to after-work cocktails and everything in between.:
Meanwhile, Ted’s Bulletin is preparing to open its newest Virginia location at 2471 Mandeville Lane in Alexandria on November 17. That restaurant will become the chain’s ninth location, with Bethesda expected to follow as its tenth.
