Montgomery County Fire and Rescue units responded to a call for a fire on the 11300 block of Cloverhill Court in Kenp Mill at approximately 6:15pm on Monday.
Units arrived to find an outdoor storage unit (shed) on fire with the fire extending to the fence and nearby grass and bushes.
The fire was extinguished, but caused over $35K in damages, including melted siding on the house. There were no injuries and the cause is currently under investigation.
