At the end of January we let you know that AMC would be taking the place of ArcLight in Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd).
The theater opened on March 2nd, but MacGuffins Bar remained dark. MacGuffins is AMC’s in-house bar that offers beer, wine, and mixed drinks to moviegoers.
The bar has its hearing with Montgomery County ABS to sell beer, wine, and liquor on Thursday April 14th at 10am, so it likely won’t be too long until customers can get the full experience at AMC’s newest MoCo theater.
ArcLight announced back in April of 2021 that due to losses during the pandemic, it would not be reopening any of its locations, including the one at Montgomery Mall.
