Update: The pedestrian mentioned in this story has succumbed to his injuries. Montgomery County Police are now investigating.
A pedestrian was struck on Tuckerman Lane near Kings Riding Way in North Bethesda around 10am on Thursday morning. According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer, EMS transported one adult with Priority 1 trauma and life threatening injuries. Tuckerman Lane is currently closed between Grosvenor Place and Sugarbush Lane as a result of the collision. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route and to expect delays. We will post an update as more information becomes available.
