‘Slight Risk’ of Severe Weather on Tuesday for Montgomery County

Montgomery County and some surrounding areas, primarily to the south and east, are at a ‘slight risk’ for severe weather throughout the day today (Tuesday, June 14th), according to the National Weather Service.

“There will be a few opportunities for showers and thunderstorms through this morning and early afternoon. The strongest storms could contain damaging wind gusts, hail, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.” The chance of rain and thunderstorms decreases as we move into the later afternoon and high temperatures reach the low 80s.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, will be much warmer with temperatures in the upper 80s/lower 90s with thunderstorms possible on Thursday. The weekend will be much more pleasant with highs in the mid to upper 70s and sunny skies expected.
