Mandalay in Silver Spring Holds Grand Reopening

Popular Burmese restaurant Mandalay, which recently reopened for business at 930 Bonifant Street in Silver Spring is holding an official “Grand Re-Opening Celebration” on August 13 and 14. The celebration will include a $30 buffet with both lunch and dinner seating options. The restaurant posted the following message on their Facebook page:
Hello Mandalay Family
Once again thank you for your support these last few weeks. We are so happy to see all of you and hope that you continue to order your favorite menu items in the coming weeks and months.
On Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14, we will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening Celebration at the restaurant. There will be a lunch seating at noon & a dinner seating at 6 both days. This will be a buffet and indoor and outdoor seating will be available. The cost is $30 per person. Reservations are not required.
Mandalay will be open for regular takeout as well during this time.
Please bring your appetites and join us in celebrating the return of Mandalay.

Mandalay first announced in 2019 that it would be moving to a new location in Washington, DC., but and closed the restaurant in Silver Spring on October 31 of 2021.
