MoCoShow High School Football Top 10 – Week 4

1. Quince Orchard 4-0 (LW 1)

The Cougars earned their 4th straight shutout of the season, handing Damascus their 1st loss of the season 28-0. RB Iverson Howard ran for 97 yds and 2 TDs. Next, QO will travel to Death Valley in Germantown to take on undefeated Seneca Valley.

2. Seneca Valley  4-0 (LW 2)

The Sreamin’ Eagles are still soaring after shutting out Whitman 55-0.  Seneca will face their toughest challenge of the season next, as they host Quince Orchard in the MoCoShow Game of the Week. 

3.  Blair 4-0 (LW 6)

The Blazers beat Paint Branch for the 1st time since 2016,  25-18, in an exciting game.  QB Kendall Anderson threw for 200 yds and 2 TDs. RB Kam Reynolds ran for 155 yds and 1 TD.  Another big game is up next as Blair hosts a hungry Blake squad. 

4. Damascus 3-1  (LW 3)

The Swamin’ Hornets hung tough with Quince Orchard for a half, before falling 28-0.  As a team Daamascus rushed for 124 yds. Up next, a trip to Watkins Mill.

5. Northwest  1-3 (LW 4)

The Jaguars forfeited this week’s game.  At the time of this writing Northwest is scheduled to play at Walter Johnson.

6. Paint Branch  2-2  (LW 5)

The Panthers lost a tough  game to Blair  25-18.  RB Roman Spikes ran for 171 yds and 2 TDs. Paint Branch will look to get back on track at home vs Wheaton.

7. Sherwood  3-1  (LW 7)

The Warriors’ defeated Einstein 41-6,  Friday night.  RB Van Mahoney rushed for 115 yds and 2 TDs. Sherwood will host Northwood next.

8. Walter Johnson 3-1 (LW 8)

The Wildcats took care of business against Wheaton 42-0.  QB Andrew Plotnick was 9 out of 12 passing for 113 yds and 2 TDs. Walter Johnson is scheduled to host Northwest at the time of this writing.  

9. Blake 3-1 (LW 9)

The Bengals shutout Watkins Mill 35-0.  QB Joey Faunteroy passed for 107 yds and 1 TD.  Blake will travel to the Inferno to take on undefeated Blair next.

10.  Poolesville 4-0 (10)

The Falcons put together a fantastic 2nd half comeback to beat Rockville 22-21 in overtime. RB Evan Taylor put up a staggering 278 yds and 3 TDs!  Poolesville will be on the road to take on a solid Magruder team next.
