On December 4, at approximately 8:44 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1100 block of University Blvd for an armed robbery that occurred outside of a bank.
According to police, “the victim was robbed at gunpoint at the Wells Fargo outdoor ATM. The victim complied and the unknown male suspect fled in a green sedan, unknown make or license plate number.
Lookout information was provided to all surrounding jurisdictions. This investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking that anyone with information about this incident, or knows the identities of the suspects, please contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #230069873. This incident occurred in Ward 6.”
