One Adult, One Teen Apprehended For Residential Burglary Wednesday Morning

Chief Antonio DeVaul from the Takoma Park Police Department has announced the arrest of Julia Rubin, 31, of Hyattsville, Maryland for residential burglary. A 17-year-old male suspect was also arrested at the time.

Per Takoma Park Police, “On December 27, at approximately 5:36 am, Takoma Park Police officers responded to the 1200 block of Holton Lane for a residential burglary.  A resident noticed two unknown subjects stealing property from a neighbor’s garage.  A lookout of the subjects was broadcast to surrounding jurisdictions and the two subjects were apprehended in the 1300 block of University Blvd.  Both subjects were in possession of items stolen from the victim’s garage.

Rubin was arrested, charged accordingly, and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.  The 17-year-old male juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.”
