Crash on Outer Loop of 495
A vehicle rear ended a tractor trailer on the outer loop of the Beltway near the Northwest Branch bridge between New Hampshire Ave. and University Boulevard.
Some lanes were blocked due to the crash that left the driver trapped inside the vehicle. The driver was extricated by emergency crews and is now being evaluated.
Some lanes remained blocked.
