Suspects Exit Vehicle to Rob Victim at Gunpoint Shortly After Midnight on Wednesday

On December 27, at approximately 12:48 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 8600 block of Flower Avenue for an armed robbery that had just occurred.

According to police, “the victim was walking in the area when the suspect vehicle, a black vehicle (unknown make/model/year), pulled up alongside him.  Both suspects exited the vehicle, robbed the victim of his property at gunpoint, and then returned to the vehicle and fled eastbound on Flower Avenue towards Carroll Avenue.

The victim was not physically injured during the armed robbery. The suspects are described as (1) a Hispanic male, last seen wearing a ski mask and all dark clothing and armed with a handgun and (2) an unknown race male last seen wearing a ski mask and all dark clothing.

Lookout information was provided to all surrounding jurisdictions. Investigators are asking that anyone with information about this incident, or who knows the suspects’ identities, please contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #230073760.”
