Update: Per MCFRS Spokesperson Pete Piringer: “Park Police UTV & UTV731 located hiker at 7pm. 1 adult being assisted back to roadway/staging, MCFRS EMS evaluating for possible transport before releasing.”
A search is currently underway for a lost person near the Ten Mile Creek Trail in Boyd’s.
According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Pete Piringer, Montgomery County Park Police are en route to meet a lost and disoriented person where 10 Mile Creek Trail and Osprey Heights Trail meet. ECC (Emergency Communications Center) have been in contact with the person and have a GPS location.
We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
