UPDATE for MCPS: Code Orange / Schools Closed – Offices Open 2 Hours Late and Eligible 11- and 12-Month Employees May Telework
Due to dangerous conditions because of persistent difficulties in ice removal, MCPS Schools are closed, and offices are open two hours later and eligible 11- and 12-month employees may telework for Wednesday, Jan. 17; all MCPS-sponsored school and community activities are canceled, including athletic practices and events. Childcare programs in schools may operate two hours later. Please check with your provider.
For Employees: 10-month staff do not report. 11-12-month non-emergency staff may choose telework Emergency staff do report.
