
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a 75′ tall tree that fell into a house on the 4200 block of Thornapple St., between Oak Ridge Ave. and Maple Ave., in Chevy Chase on Sunday morning.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the tree fell from the back of the home and struck the occupied house. Luckily, there were no injuries due to the tree falling into the home. Thornapple St. was closed for several hours while the tree was removed and cut. Photos below, courtesy of MCFRS:
