UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted at Fox Chapel Elementary School. There is no known threat at this time. The students will return to their normal dismissal and extra-curricular activities.
According to Montgomery County Police, Fox Chapel Elementary School in Germantown is currently in a lockdown.
MCPD tweeted the following at 3:16pm on Wednesday, March 13: “Fox Chapel Elementary School is currently in lockdown following the report of shots near the campus.
MCPD is confirming the validity of this report.
#mcpd #mcpnews”
