First Look at Taco Bell Cantina; The “Boozy” Version of the Fast Food Restaurant is Now Open

Back in June, we let you know that “boozy” Taco Bell (Taco Bell Cantina) was coming to Montgomery County. The restaurant is now open  at 8662 Colesville Road in Silver Spring and our very own Mr. MoCo stopped by to check it out this afternoon (available below).

Taco Bell Cantina is located next to the Fillmore Silver Spring and across the street from Ellsworth Place in the space that was most recently home to Pollo Campero until it closed in late 2021. According to Google, it’s open 24 hours a day.

These versions of Taco Bell are known for their fast-paced environment, tech-forward innovations like kiosks and digital menu boards, and a variety of alcoholic beverages to go along with traditional Taco Bell fare.

The Taco Bell Cantina alcoholic drink menu “features an assortment of beers, wines, sangria and Twisted Freezes, including your favorite fermented alcohol.”
