Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a report of smoke coming from a building (PEPCO Sub-Station) at 4100 Colie Dr. in Silver Spring.
According to MCFRS, responding units found a conductor on fire. PEPCO is now on the scene as MCFRS is scaling back and turning operations over to PEPCO. We have received several reports of lights flickering across the county, with multiple reports from Olney that include outages. At this time, it is unclear if there is a connection between the two.
