The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has released surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection to an assault that occurred on Thursday, July 4.
According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:50pm on the rooftop of the Thayer & Silver Spring apartments in the 900 block of Silver Spring Avenue.
“The suspect is described as a Black male, armed with a handgun, with a stocky build, average height, short locs, and wearing a white t-shirt, a white tank-top, blue jeans and sneakers
The investigation by detectives has revealed that an argument occurred between two groups of people on the rooftop of the apartment building. A short time later, the suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at people and left the scene.
