Office Depot to Close on November 15th, Amazon Taking Over
A couple weeks back we were told Office Depot in Gaithersburg would be closing permanently and that something Amazon-related would be taking over (based on a few Office Depot employees we spoke to).

September 30th is Census Response Deadline – How Does MoCo Rank in Response Rate?
September 30th, 2020 is the final day that households can respond to the 2020 Census. The Census is a count of the population by the federal government that takes place every ten years. All residents in the United States are counted, including those who are not U.S. citizens.

Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, known as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century, published multiple novels and short stories in his lifetime.

Ulta Germantown Opens Tomorrow (Friday, 9/25)

Nestled in the center of Aspen Hill, Md lies the Aspin Hill Memorial Park, the final resting place of more than 53,000 pets and people. Far from a Steven King novel, Aspin Hill Memorial Park is a place that honors the love between people and their pets. It’s owned by the Montgomery County Humane Society and is open to the public year-around.
Founded in 1921, the memorial’s name comes from a dog-kennel in England–this spelling of “Aspin” is not a typo! Aspin Hill Pet Memorial is thought to be the second-oldest pet cemetery in the United States. Typical pets such as dogs and cats are buried there, but animals like horses and monkeys can also be found.
