Silver Branch Brewing at 8401 Colesville Rd #150 in Silver Spring has announced it is seeking investment to open a third location in Rockville. The brewery plans to expand its operations and relocate its brewing operations to a new Rockville facility, which will allow them to increase production capacity and expand distribution. With the brewing equipment moved, they plan to build a full kitchen at its Silver Spring location and launch their new Mosaic Pizza brand.
Pumpkin Festival returns to Butler’s Orchard (22222 Davis Mill Road) in Germantown this year from September 21st-November 3. Admission includes access to Pick Your Own Pumpkins, hay rides, tractor pulls, straw mazes, giant slides, and more. The event runs each Wednesday – Friday: 1-6pm and Saturday – Sunday: 9am-6pm. Montgomery County Police arrested three suspects for a carjacking on September 2, 2024, in which the victim was threatened with a knife and had his Honda Civic stolen.
