We first let you know that Two Hands Seoul Fresh Corn Dogs would be coming to Westfield Wheaton Mall all the way back in November, 2020. We have now been told by representatives of the restaurant that they will finally be opening this Friday, April 1.
The Korean Corn Dog restaurant is located in the former Teavana space in the mall’s upper level. Two Hands currently has locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, New York, Texas, and Virginia (Centreville).

DSW is now open at 20900-B Frederick Road in the Milestone Shopping Center in Germantown.
The DSW at 12922 Middlebrook Road in Germantown closed on April 10.

The Maryland State Board of Education recently changed its graduation requirement for health education. Students must now earn one full credit for graduation; previously, they earned one half-credit. This requirement begins with the Class of 2025. The health education curriculum team in the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Schools is developing a new Health Education B class that all students will take following Health Education A.

Radio station Hot 99.5 (WIHT FM) is running a tournament to determine “Who is the best high school in the DMV?”
Wheaton High School is currently facing off against Osbourn Park High School (Manassas, VA) in the final round.
The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services announced that it has received written guidance from the Maryland Department of Health and will begin offering second COVID-19 boosters at Montgomery County clinics beginning today, March 30.

Beginning this Friday, April 1, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation will be extending the hours in which residents will be required to pay for street parking in Silver Spring and Wheaton.
The new hours requiring payment at on-street meters will be Monday through Friday, 9am-10pm in Silver Spring, and Monday through Saturday, 9am-10pm in Wheaton.
