Armed Robbery of Wheaton T-Mobile
Thursday evening shortly after 8PM, there was an armed robbery at the T-Mobile store at 2800 University Blvd. West in Wheaton.
Several men wearing ski masks entered the store and at least one of them brandished a handgun. They demanded and obtained cash and phones and quickly left the store.
Witnesses in the area told responding Montgomery County Police officers that they got into a vehicle parked in one of the Wheaton Mall parking lots and fled the area in their vehicle.
As of midday Friday, the amount of cash stolen and the value of the stolen phones had not been released.
Montgomery County Police Detectives are investigating the incident.
This same T-Mobile store had been stolen from in a theft on November 18th, however the November incident was less brazen as no weapons were involved.
It is unclear if the theft and armed robbery are connected; surveillance video of the November incident can be viewed on the Montgomery County Police YouTube channel.

Crazy a cell phone store had. O surveillance cams that day, seems like they would’ve and in such case the news, and this blog, obviously would’ve posted the video and photos in the hope the violent, gun toting criminals would be identified and caught and another gun taken from the hands of a violent criminal. I hope they, and YOU, aren’t jolding suchbevidence from the public while athe gun and criminal are still out there…because if that’s the case then blood on your hands if they go and commit further crimes!
Your comment is a little difficult to understand, and we’re not really sure what you’re alluding to, but there is a link to surveillance footage in the article if that’s what you’re interested in watching.
