Bark Social Announces February 2021 Opening Date

Bark Social, one of the first “dog bars” in the Mid-Atlantic region, recently shared an updated opening date of February 2021 (now we know it will be the weekend of February 26-28) in the caption of an instagram post.  In this caption, they also hinted at the possibility of multiple locations in the future.

Bark Social will be located in Pike & Rose adjacent to Rose Park and next to Julii and Jinya. The venue will consist of a 25,000 square foot dog park plus a 2,500 square foot climate controlled clubhouse as well as a bar for humans!

Members can look forward to accessing amenities such as TV and WiFi, a dog treat bar with puppy ice cream and pupsicles, dog wash stations, a puppy boutique and will offer events such as dog yoga, Yappy hours, singles nights, dog birthday parties, and even a Halloween dog costume contest.

Bark Social offers Daily, Monthly, and Annual memberships and offers discounts to the dogs of frontline workers, teachers, federal government employees, and active duty military– humans are always free!

  1. When will this open for sure? The delay opening is making me doubtful of purchasing a membership if it isn’t a sure thing it will ever open

The delayed opening is due to all the red tape of dear old Montgomery County plus the current situation. I wouldn’t be hesitant.
