Champions Sports Bar, owned by Jennifer Garcia and local radio personality Yernandy Rijo, will open in Silver Spring this Friday, 10/23 at 6pm. The bar is located at 9433 Georgia Avenue, in the former home of Action House Vape & Hookah, in the same strip at La Casa Del Mofongo.
The bar/restaurant offers more than 10 TVs to enjoy all sports available. The menu consists of traditional “bar food” with a Latin twist. Some of the items included are:
• Tequeños (Venezuelan cheese sticks)
• Tuna wraps
• Pastrami sandwich
• Pretzel with Champions sauce
• Local beers and fine spirits
and a lot more!
You will find anything from a colorful mural to tasty drinks, great music and service, according to the owners. Alcani Group consulting team helped in the structure and opening of the bar with their experience and expertise. All Montgomery County Covid-19 regulations will be followed during the grand opening. Interesting how the name and identical logo for this bar/restaurant has evolved over the years. There was a bar in Georgetown, and then in Rockville with the same name. The Rockville version relocated to Frederick and is still in business.
