A virtual meeting will take place tonight to discuss the potential name change of the White Flint metro station.

Why is the metro name changing?
White Flint doesn’t exist anymore
I thought the whole area was White Flint, not just the mall. What are they going to rename it? North Bethesda? East Potomac?
Not sure at the moment.
It was White Flint because of the white quartz stone in the area—the stone is still there and they shouldn’t change the name.
The name will be changed if the local developers want it to be renamed. They basically control Montgomery County.
