Germantown Shooting Causes Multiple Crashes But No Serious Injuries

Shortly before 10PM Saturday, Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the intersection of Cider Barrel Drive & Gunners Ter in Germantown.
Multiple residents of nearby houses called 911 reporting a shooting and a multi vehicle crash. At least one 911 caller also reported their house had been hit by gunfire.
Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting that resulted in two separate crashes all in the same intersection. Nobody was actually shot; one adult female was injured in one of the crashes but refused medical assistance on scene.
Police Officers investigating the shooting incident also wrote two crash reports for the two separate vehicle crashes, both of which are connected to the shooting and occurred in the same immediate area.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting and resulting crashes remain under investigation.
